Here’s a great three card spread I discovered while reading “Tarot Tells the Tale.” It may be quick, but it is mighty!
What to do:
1. Divide your deck into three piles: One for the Major Arcana, one for the Court Cards, and one for the rest of the Minor Arcana. Shuffle each pile separately.
2. Deal one Major Arcana, one Court Card, and one Minor Arcana.
Major Arcana - how to approach the issue.
Court Card – the characteristics you will need to overcome the problem.
Minor Arcana – the action you need to take.
I love three card readings – big spreads are ideal for when a dilemma has many layers to address; but when you’ve thought and thought until you’ve thought a hole into the ground, that’s when three card readings really come into their own – they cut through the knots you’ve tied your mind into with simple and effective clarity.
Not only that, but they’re great for when you’re on the go, or short on time!
